Is My App Slop audits vibe-coded websites and web apps. Paste your link, and in a few minutes you get a scored report on what a customer sees, what reads as slop, and what to fix first.
What it is
Slop is work that looks generated instead of made: the default template, the vague headline, the button that goes nowhere. The audit checks for those tells.
It works on any public website or web app, however it was made, including ones built with Lovable, Bolt, Replit, or another AI tool. We are not affiliated with Lovable, Bolt, or Replit. The audit reads your live public pages the way a customer would, not your code.
Who runs it
Is My App Slop was founded by Kathryn Finney, author of the Wall Street Journal bestseller Build the Damn Thing. Kathryn is a venture capitalist and two-time exited operator, and she leads Build Labs, where we help founders and builders take an idea from a rough draft to a real product.

How the audit works
- You paste your link and email. We only audit public pages, so use your homepage or landing page, not a page behind a login.
- You pay $27 through Stripe. One payment, no account, and nothing renews.
- The audit reads your site like a customer. It looks at the rendered page plus desktop and mobile screenshots, checks your public pages and links, clicks your buttons, and follows your main call to action. It stops at a payment page without entering payment details. With your permission, it may submit a form once using clearly labeled test details.
- It scores your site against a fixed rubric in six areas: Clarity and Promise, Craft and Design Integrity, Trust and Legitimacy, Flow and Usability, Mobile and Access, Conversion and The Ask. It also checks for the fingerprints AI builders leave behind and compares your page with real competitor pages it fetched.
- Your report arrives in minutes, as a web report and a PDF: your score, what works, what reads as slop, and the fixes to tackle first, each with a prompt you can paste into your builder.
