How Is My App Slop works

You paste a link. Christian clicks through your live pages the way a real customer would, then scores what he finds. Here's what happens, step by step.

Hi, I'm Christian, and looking at people's sites is my jam.

Here at Is My App Slop, I click through your site the way a real customer would.

I know how exciting it can be to build a website. You just built your app, but you want to know what other people think, and whether it's really up to par.

That's where I come in. Paste your link, and I'll score it against the more than 100 other sites we've audited, then tell you what to fix first.

Then I get to work on your live pages, and your report shows up right here.

For $27, you get a detailed report, with your site receiving a score out of 100, a list of what's working and what reads as slop, fixes ranked by impact, an AI fingerprint check, a competitor read, plus a free guide of 35 prompts.

Find out if your app is slop at IsMyAppSlop.com.

What you do

  1. Paste your link and your email. We only audit public pages, so use your homepage or landing page, not a page that needs a login.
  2. Pay $27 through Stripe. It's one payment, with no account, and nothing renews.
  3. Close the page if you like. We'll email your report link to the address you paid with. If you stay, your report opens right here when it's ready.

What Christian does, in 9 steps

A full audit takes a few minutes, because he really clicks through your site. Some steps are skipped when they don't apply, such as when there's no form we can safely test.

  1. Mapping your site: Finding up to 10 public pages
  2. Checking every link: Looking for 404s, empty pages and links to nowhere
  3. Clicking every button: Noting what each one actually does
  4. Walking your main path: Following your main call to action, stopping before any payment or login
  5. Testing your forms: Sending up to 3 forms once, with clearly labeled test data
  6. Watching for your confirmation email: Up to 5 minutes, only if a form was sent
  7. Scoring six areas: Clarity, craft, trust, flow, mobile and the ask
  8. Checking your competitors: Reading how similar products present themselves
  9. Writing your report: Fixes ranked by impact, with prompts you can paste

The six things we score

Every score comes from what we could observe on your public pages. If we could not test something, the report says so. This is not a security review or a full accessibility audit.

Clarity and Promise

Does the headline say what this is, in one sentence, and does the rest of the page agree with it?

Craft and Design Integrity

Stock photos, mismatched corner radii, default icon sets: the specific tells that a build never got a design pass.

Trust and Legitimacy

A real way to contact you, a current footer year, actual legal pages: the signals a customer checks before they trust you with money.

Flow and Usability

What happens after someone signs up, clicks buy, or hits a dead end, not just whether the buttons work.

Mobile and Access

Whether the primary action is visible on a real phone screen, without scrolling, pinching, or guessing.

Conversion and The Ask

Whether the price is shown before the ask, and whether the call to action asks for something specific.

What's in your report

  • A score out of 100 and a verdict
  • What works and what reads as slop in each of the six areas
  • Fixes ranked by impact, each with a prompt you can paste into your builder
  • An AI generator fingerprint check
  • A competitor read
  • A web report and a PDF
  • The 35 Prompts to Build the Damn Thing guide, free ($50 value)

What it can't do

  • It only sees public pages. Anything behind a login is out of reach.
  • It's an AI audit scored against a fixed rubric, not a person reading your app. That's why it's back in minutes.
  • It reads your live pages the way a customer would, not your code or which tool you used.
  • It stops at a payment or login page and never enters payment details.
  • It may submit up to 3 forms once, with clearly labeled test details, and only with your permission.

If something goes wrong

If you don't find your report useful, you can request a full refund within 24 hours of your report being delivered. Open your report, select Request a refund, and answer three short questions. If your audit can't finish, it's refunded automatically.
